Tejarat Bank (Trade Bank) is one of the largest commercial banks in Iran. The Bank provides various deposit and loan products, as well as telephone, Internet, and mobile banking services to individuals and businesses. Tejarat Bank has representative offices in major financial centers worldwide (UK, Germany, France, UAE, and China).Total assets: US$ 35.8 billion (as of March 31, 2010). Tejarat Bank was founded in 1979 by the integration of Bank Bazargani, five domestic commercial banks (Commercial Bank of Iran, Bank Kar, Bank Iranshahr, Iranian Industries Bank, and Shahriar), and six previous multi-nationality banks (Iran-Middle East Bank, Iran-England Bank, Iranian Facilities Bank, Bank-e-Iranian, Iran-Japan Bank, and Iran-India Bank) which were active in international and domestic fields.
