The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC) is a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, established to enhance trade among the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member countries. Since its inception in January 2008, ITFC has focused on improving socio-economic conditions by fostering trade development. As an autonomous entity, it consolidates trade finance activities to provide efficient service delivery and quick responses to customer needs. ITFC offers a variety of Shari’ah-compliant trade finance solutions, including financing for imports and exports and pre-export financing. It also provides capacity-building programs to help businesses in member countries compete in the global market. Through initiatives like AfTIAS and AATB, ITFC aims to enhance enterprise competitiveness and develop trade linkages between Arab and African countries. With over $70 billion in financing provided, ITFC is a key player in promoting intra-trade and supporting economic development in its member countries.
