Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union began in the 1950s as Schafer Mill Employees Credit Union in Grays Harbor and PUD Credit Union in Pacific County, later combining and merging to become Twin Harbors Credit Union in 1982. In 2000, they changed their name to Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union. Currently, Great NorthWest has 5 branches in Aberdeen, Raymond, Long Beach, Ocean Park and Chehalis with a membership of over 16,000.
