BBVA Chile was recognized for its innovative approach in the banking sector, particularly in digital banking and mobile payments. It provided a wide range of financial services, including solutions for personal and corporate clients. Notably, it introduced BBVA Wallet, the first mobile payment solution in Chile, enhancing customer convenience with features like purchase notifications on mobile devices. In July 2018, Scotiabank Chile took control of BBVA Chile, leading to a rebranding and full integration by October 2018.
