AJIB obtained license number (3) from the Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) to establish a wholly owned subsidiary bank in Qatar under the name of the Arab Jordan Investment Bank (Qatar) LLC. The Bank commenced its banking operations in early April 2006, after it had met all legal and regulatory requirements of the (QFCRA). The subsidiary will offer investment and advisory services, in addition to its existing commercial banking services. AJIB was founded in 1978, to become the first investment bank in Jordan, with a distinguished track record in successful transactions.
